Every tee in our catalog is Comfort Colors 1717 — 6.1 oz garment-dyed heavyweight cotton, broken in from first wear. Pre-shrunk — minimal additional shrinkage after first wash.
The one rule
Comfort Colors 1717 runs unisex relaxed. That means:
- Women: size DOWN one from your usual women's size. Your normal women's M = unisex S in this blank.
- Men: order your usual size.
If you like a more boxy or oversized fit, stay at your usual size.

Chest width is half-circumference, measured 1" below the armhole, laid flat. Length is from high point of shoulder to bottom hem.
How to measure your "best fit" tee
- Find a tee in your closet that fits you exactly the way you'd want this one to fit.
- Lay it flat. Measure across the chest, 1 inch below the armpit. Double that = chest circumference.
- Match against the table above (chest column = half-circumference, so look for that exact number).
Fit notes from real wears
- Women: size down once. Confirmed by every test buyer.
- Launch colorways: Ivory, Berry, Blue Jean, Graphite. Garment-dyed cotton means slight color and fit variation lot-to-lot — under 0.5" through the chest.
- The fabric softens 10–15% after first wash. Length stays within 0.5".
- Sleeves hit just above the elbow on most adult sizes — relaxed but not boxy.
