Frequently asked questions
Sizing
Q: What size should I get? Comfort Colors 1717 runs unisex relaxed. Most women size down one from their usual women's tee size — so a typical women's M is a unisex S in this blank. Detailed measurements are on the size chart.
Q: Is it true to size for men? Yes — for men's sizing, order your usual unisex/men's size. Relaxed but not oversized.
Shipping
Q: When will my order ship? Most orders ship within 5 business days. We print to order in the US — your tee doesn't exist yet when you order it, which is also why nothing ever sells out.
Tournament weekend rushes can stretch fulfillment to 7 business days. We'll always email you when your order ships.
Q: Where do you ship from? Our print partner's US fulfillment network. Standard USPS ground.
Q: Do you ship internationally? Not at launch. US-only for now. International is on the year-2 list.
Q: Free shipping threshold? Free shipping on US orders over $75. Under $75, shipping is $4.95 flat.
Returns
Q: What's your return policy? 30-day returns on unworn, unwashed items in original condition. Customer covers return shipping. Refund processed within 5 business days of receiving the return.
Q: What if there's a print defect or quality issue? Send a photo to hello@awaygamesocialclub.com within 30 days of delivery. We'll cover the reship — no need to return the original. We print everything fresh, so defects are rare but they do happen.
Q: Wrong size — can I exchange? Yes, but it's faster to return the wrong size and place a new order in the right size (this also locks in the right size at current pricing). Reach out at hello@awaygamesocialclub.com and we'll walk you through it.
Care
Q: How do I wash these? Cold water, inside out. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Don't iron directly on the print. Comfort Colors are pre-shrunk and garment-dyed, so they keep their shape and color through wash after wash.
Q: Will it shrink? Pre-shrunk in the dye process. Expect minimal additional shrinkage after the first wash — under 5%.
Q: Will the print fade? Direct-to-garment ink soaks into the cotton, so it ages naturally with the shirt. Not a vinyl decal that cracks. With normal cold-wash care it'll outlast most things in your closet.
About the brand
Q: Who makes these? Away Game Social Club is run by Casey, a Section 200 dad. Designs and brand work happen in-house. Printing and fulfillment go through Printify.
Q: Why Comfort Colors? Same blank used by HOMAGE, Charlie Hustle, and most premium vintage brands. Heavyweight, garment-dyed, broken in from first wear. Costs more than a Gildan and feels twice as much like an actual shirt you'd want to keep.
Q: Where else can I buy your stuff? Right here, direct from us. We're not on Etsy or Amazon. May add Etsy as a secondary discovery channel later, but the brand will always be cleanest here.
Custom / wholesale
Q: Do you do team store / bulk orders? Not yet. On the roadmap for after the public catalog stabilizes. If you're a coach or team manager and would buy 10+ of one design, email hello@awaygamesocialclub.com and we'll see what we can do.
